New Redding powder measure bottle adapters

Iowa's Ted Hunter makes lots of nice 3D printed reloading accessories and recently started offering these bottle adapters for the Redding measures. The two I have work with the Hodgden/IMR/Accurate/Winchester and the V.V. bottles. They feature a 1/2" diameter baffle opening and the texture promotes a nice flow of the granules. Here's a few pics with how they fit my well used, slightly worked over Redding 3BR.

The original reservoir had been redrilled, sealed with RTV and had a wrap of duct tape around it just for good measure. It mounts to the side of my loading box with a home made bracket.

I can't imagine how many pounds of powder have been through the original reservoir. Here it is in all it's nastiness. The drop tube is a Sinclair with a .17 caliber insert in the bottom to slow the powder flow for better case filling.

A 16 oz. HDPE Nalgen 'wide mouth' bottle also fits the Hodgden adapter.

Ted also makes the adapters for the Alliant and MEC bottles. Here's a link to his store on ebay.

I spent a good amount of time putting some different powders through it. The design of the adapter definitely helped the weight consistency of the thrown charges.

Good shootin' :) -Al
