There is a new range that has opened in Marshall tx. It has about 8 covered benches that let you shoot out to 800yds,and later this summer, when it dries up, out to 1100 yds. The name of the range is American freedom firearms training.it is located off hwy 59 north past the loop, turn left at mastercraft ave,go to first right. Range is at end of road. The range is managed by Dan henderson, 1-903 662-1238. Range is closed on Monday.and Tuesday. Oh, I forgot, you can shoot handguns there also. Nice range ,nice people.

It's good to know there is another option to the limited selection we're faced with here in NE Texas. Tac-Pro in Stephenville and CCC in Cresson are the only ranges that offer 1000yds and beyond I know of and the latter has membership fees that can be rather steep.
