When out in the field, I am always constantly reaching up to try and fiddle with one of the legs
(unless its a Cantible bipod of course)

cool idea but like the above poster noted - electronic may or may not be attractive on such a device
it also needs (like my Electric trailer jack does) a manual backup in case batteries die
