New product from 21st century introduction

I have in my grubby little hands a new product from @Petros284 at 21st century innovation. Its a universal bushing die. Its a plain open die body that takes different size inserts. image.jpgimage.jpg
I got a good selection of various bushings i use in 6mm size to try it out. I used it tonite to make a 6mm wildcat out of 6.5x47L brass and took a pic to show how perfect they turn out. 2C74DDD0-DD36-44C5-A225-7F192A9AEBC8.jpeg
I didnt take the bushing all the way to the shoulder because ill do it with the die or the chamber, whatever length i would need. The die body comes in long and short. I got the short so i can do short or long, but youd ideally want the long body for this length case and short for br/ppc length cases. As you can see the shape of the bushing is like a funnel and does not create any runout going straight from 6.5mm to 6mm size ( i went from .294 to .266 on the case pictured). Here is what it looks like in the press:0954BE43-FEA6-4A83-993F-F61A21822B75.jpeg

This die is real good in my opinion for any bushing operation if you just wanna tweak the tension a bit, like if you use a FL non bushing die, honed die and a new batch of brass, or necking cases down to a new caliber wildcatting. Its a beautiful piece just like all 21st century items.

I have an old die made by John Bunch (via Butch Lambert) for that. Good deal 21st Century is making these available. There was that guy that was making something similar but his production was very hit and miss.

THis is not just for necking down, but also for pushing shoulders where you want them, for pretty much any cartridge you want to make. Like I can turn 30-06 brass into any shorter .473 casehead rough. Then fireform to finish the cartridge. I can make WSSM cases from WSM, etc.

I dont really look at this die the same way as those dies. These dies are more for precision bushing sizing not just bludgeoning out cases
I would not say the Bunch die bludgeons out cases if that’s what you are referring too. I have made additional bushings out of simple 12L14 with an angle to more precisely form up a shoulder and that works great too. I’ve also made additional bushings out of the 12L14 in more ID’s for specific projects as well. Nothing about the final product required more precision for the task.

Yes It will. For the WSM you’ll want the standard length die body and the appropriate bushings. Id step it down with two inserts (bushings) to get to the final dimension.

Thanks Pete......Any idea when it be available for order on the web site?
