NEW Oehler 35P's !

Good news,
I just got an email from Oehler indicating that they will be offering the 35P again in the summer of 2010.
It will have 3 screens, printer, 4' bar and stands.

I traded a Ruger #1 for my model 33 a long time ago .

Very good news... but I'd be more enthused if they'd actually put forth some effort to improve said product... like with modern electronics, features, etc.

Do you mean: like the Kurzzeit PVM-21 with a 16 MHz sampling rate, laterally firing, self-powered, infrared screens, USB interface and included software?

Something like that... my point is that Oehler has a very good product, but it seems odd that they haven't updated it how many years (decades)? It's good as is, but how much better could it be if they put forth some effort...?

Chatted with Ken Oehler today. The model 35Ps will be clones of previous product -- no changes. Price is $575.00 for complete system with hardcase. One configuration only and the product run will be "at least 200". Full details on Daily Bulletin:

FYI, if this "special run" works out Oehler is considering moving back into consumer market.
