i assume the course of fire was 3 x 600??? was EACH 600 REGISTERED as an INDIVIDUAL match??

or was it a MID range OR a LONG range PALMA???

No, these are F-CLASS scores, shot at an NRA Registered High Power Tournament that holds 3- 15 Round Matches with a 4th Match as the Agg., Mid Range.....not sure how they look like PALMA scores. If you want look it up under High Power in Shooting Sports, in New York and you'll see it's listed, one NRA Registered, Tournament Monthly, May, June, July, August, September and October.

The July Match is the Adirondack F-Class Mid Range Championship, July 10th.

Well, Mike, I shot F-TR in the Arizona State Palma Championship and the scores looked a lot like those you posted. I was not impugning the integrity of your matches, just inquiring about format.

When we shoot single distance at Camp Pendleton, as in the upcoming 5X1000 matches , they are all 20 shot matches. The only time we shoot 15 shot strings is for Palma or a 300-500-600 Mid-Range match. We always have both sling and F-Class shooters in our NRA registered prone High Power matches.

In the Berger Southwest Long Range Nationals, I shot a Palma the first day and five 1000 yard matches over the next two days. All the 1000 yard matches were 20 shot. I know that 15 shot matches are equally valid, it is just that we do not see them often. Sorry for the perceived slight, it was not intended.

Palma is a 45 shot match with a perfect score of 450, 15 shots at 800, 15 shots at 900, 15 shots at 1000. Sometimes F class is also shot simultaneously. That is how they look like Palma scores.

I know what PALMA is.....it was my #2 behind High Power until F-Class came along.
