New Member Intro

Hello, everyone. Introducing myself as a new member here. Just signed up for a Silver Membership, and looking forward to learning from and contributing to this group. I didn't see a new member sticky, so if this isn't the right place to post this, I apologize in advance.

I've been a long time lurker around here; a forum introduced to me by a late friend and father figure that was active until he passed in 2014 (Mark Schoeppner, RIP). I've been a Sniper's Hide member since 2010. I finally signed up here to get deeper into the weeds of shooting, handloading, gunsmithing, hunting, and camaraderie.

I'm native to New Mexico and enjoy recreational shooting, hunting, fishing, camping, traveling, hiking, sports, craft beer, gin, rye whiskey, and of course, hanging with my wife, kids, dog, and family. I look forward to embarking on a new path of knowledge and enlightenment with you all.

Question; given this is obviously a serious community that I'd like to contribute to beyond posts, if I already signed up for a Silver membership (just a few days ago) and want to upgrade to Gold, is it as simple as adding a $25 donation to what I've already paid? Not sure if there is any staff or mods that handle that stuff. Thanks in advance.

click on the "Members" tab in the nav bar at the top of the page. In the lower part of the page that shows up is "Staff" and his handle is "Forum Boss". You can PM him with questions.

At one point he went by “Mark S in NM”. He long went by the nickname “Shoepop”, which was his screen name on The Hide.

@snert Here’s an old thread where he talks up some 155 Bergers he loaded up in a TRG22 that I graciously acquired from his family after he passed (I’m still shooting the same load today).
