Just joined the forum so I thought I would give a quick introduction. I participate in a few other sites, so I expect I'll see some familiar members and meet a lot of new ones. I've found myself referencing information here many times so why not join in? About me:
I post under Allen Humphrey, which was a handle from years ago and is just an amalgamation of old family names. Actual name is Richard.
I've been a shooter since about 1980, handloader shortly after that, and got into High Power competition a lot later in life circa 2010. I've been the HP match director at our club since 2011 (that escalated quickly), running CMP Games, NRA XTC and F-Class, as well as service rife EIC matches.
I'm a ME by degree and have worked in the machine design field since '95. I build and maintain most all of my firearms which recently led me into 3D printing for tools and accessories as a hobby side hustle. Mostly supporting vintage military rifles, Shotmarker cable management, and Hornady AP/handloading. 71 Innovation is the website.
Mostly I use the various forums to learn new things, hear feedback about equipment, and share my thoughts when appropriate. Looking forward to seeing more of what is available here and "meeting" new people.
