New member from Kansas-

Hi there! I wanted to introduce myself. I live on a small ranch in Kansas with my wife and Labrador pup. I have hunted, fished, and shot for over 50 years. I have my own 100 yard range and like to hand load. My favorite rifle calibers are .204 Ruger, .22-250, .223 and .221 Fireball. I started hunting coyotes back in the day you had to use actual field craft and a hand call...

I hope to connect with like minded individuals and learn what I can from the content and members here.

Tom

Welcome! Lot’s of coyote hunters here! I’m a little surprised at the pics. You have trees in Kansas?!? Last time I drove thru Kansas, I don’t remember see’in one tree. ;)

Tom, check out my good friend Wyman Meinzer on instagram. Wyman has 3100 documented coyote kills and 900 bobcats. He makes his own calls and our favorite coyote caliber is a 222 Remington Magnum Ackley Improved.

Most people just drive through on I 70 or I 35...they built those roads in the flatest, cheapest to build places possible. My part of Kansas is in the NE, my property had a pretty good rise on it (100 feet). There are 17 states in the usa flatter than Kansas believe it or not....

Tom, check out my post of Wyman's email that I just received. He just finished a ranch photo shoot close to the Kansas border north of Enid, OK. He got back home yesterday. He sent a photo, but I can't post them on this forum any longer. I can email them and post on other forums though.

Welcome to the forum from Kentucky (Kansan), grew up in the Flint Hills and lived in Manhattan and Hays. Now residing here in Kentucky. My son and brother are still there as well as a lot of other family back there. Lots of great members here and tons of knowledge that is shared.
