New LE Wilson Bushing Sizing Die Outstanding

Just tried my first LE WILSON bushing sizing die. I received my stock for my store last week and I just pulled one out of the box and tried it on some once fired 6xc I got from Tubb.

This is the smoothest die I have personally ever tried. Totally smoked a Redding (like by a whole lot) and is even a bit smoother than the Harrell (who makes a fine die no doubt). And the fit and finish is just next level. Almost no lube is required. I use sizing wax. And just having it on my hand is enough.

And this is not an expensive die. I think I have them in my store for $64. I only use Wilson bushings also.

I guess I made a good choice when I decided to trust LE WILSON to sell in my store!!! They never let me down!!20200817_143702.jpg

I wanted particular sizing so With three fired cases they just honed a BR-A die for me at only the cost of shipping. $8.something
The BR-A seater is perfect

The honing is good info to know. I bought the same die in 243 last year to replace a 30+ yo RCBS. Very pleased with the quality.

Hi Can Wilson supply die blanks?

I have one in 7-08 and couldn’t be more happy!.... best over the counter die I have used so far and a better finish than some of my custom dies!...

Same here. Have had one for 6.5/47 for a couple of weeks and am very impressed. The finish is super nice. Was getting a few clickers with this set of brass and was running them through a body die prior to final sizing and shoulder bump. The Wilson has eliminated this extra step for me and also reduced runout to almost nothing. Good stuff

Thanks for this Thread. I was wondering how those new Wilson dies are.

I purchased one for .308 a few weeks ago after using/fighting a Redding setup for the last year. I have been getting far more reproducible shoulder bump along the correct neck sizing with the Wilson. They also have been easier to get bushings from, even though the Redding ones do fit.

Super nice, well made product. I will be buying more from them going forward.

What kind of concentricity do you get with them? I’d like to go to bushings and and keep the great results I’m getting with honed Forsters.

Never owned a Wilson tool yet but you can see the quality just in the pics.

I don’t check consentricity any longer but when I did it was very good, I sold my gage and moved on to other things.

I have the L.E. Wilson FL Bushing die in .223 and love it. Certainly eliminates the chance of pulling on the shoulder with an expander ball. Will be getting one for 6.5 CM. Photo is .223 Rem 700, Hornady 60g V-Max seated .010 off lands. Used the FL bushing die and bumped .002.

I just got my Wilson bushing die I bought for a Dasher I am building. The bushing for it is the exact same bushing in a Hornady match grade die. There is no doubt that they are made in the same place. The size and markings are exactly the same.
