New JGS 6BRX Reamer Ahead of Scheduled 28th

Man, I`m pretty pumped that my new JGS reamer is about to be delivered. I been feeling pretty nekkid since my smith plainly refused to use my reamer for any further projects. You gotta love the mans high standards!!!

Re: New JGS 6BRX Reamer Scheduled for the 28th

My smith said it had to really be pushed hard, much harder than he was used to for it to cut. It also required polishing of the chambers afterwards. I had another few blanks arrive and wanted him to use it and he said for me to send it back to the maker that something was wrong. I tried that, to no avail the maker denied any fault and wanted to charge me for reworking it. I decided to go the high road to a new maker instead of throwing good money after bad.

If it was the reamer that did your screamer group gun, then I'll buy the old worn out one for $10.

Its not old or worn out. Its just wrong.

You`ll have $85.00 plus freight after it goes back to be "fixed". I put a nice old $100.00 bill with that to get rid of a headache.

Ole Forrest would say "one less thing" ;D

Well how about that. I just received an e-mail from JGS telling me they were done and could ship today. What awsome customer service!!

I find with chamber reamers "you get what you pay for". For the past few years I have been using JGS reamers almost exclusively and I have been very pleased with the quality of the JGS reamers and the other tooling they have supplied. Look at the cutting edges of the JGS reamers under higher magnification and you will typically see a difference (very clean sharp cutting edges - makes for a nice chamber finish and particularly in the throat area with virtually no tooling marks). Some of the JGS reamers we have are running 100+ chambers at this point and still cutting very clean and producing an excellent chamber finish. In terms of value, that's good value for the money.

Robert, seems what I hear from shooters is the same I have experienced and many, many folks are switching.
