Hello all! I LOVE my .17 hmr but getting it to shoot took some work. I have a savage stainless thumbhole and out of the box it was terrible. But i stuck with it and now im bug hole'n her @100. It needed recrowned, the barrel was sloppy to the reciever, the scope mount bases were WAY off base and was torquin the livin hell out of my scope. I also bedded it. Had a leupold vx-L 6.5-20x on it but removed it for a buck gold millet 4-16. I also have a 3 stage harris pivoting bipod and a ND3 laser light on it. That light has got me many yotes at close ranges!!!
