Hey guys, seems like every time I search anything reloading or shooting related, there is a link to a thread here so I thought I would join. I just finished a build on a Savage short action with an 8 twist .243 barrel. I've only gotten 12 rounds down the tube but that will change as soon as the Colorado weather cooperates. Anyways, it's been a good time reading what is here already and I will be sure to use the search bar before asking new questions. Thanks.

I do love a Savage. I'm thinking of a 284 Win for my next build (barrel) to fill in the "larger than deer" game capacity but that's a lot of work and I'm still somewhat new to precision reloading. IF the consensus is that I don't use the search bar, then I'll ask a question that's been asked 871 times in the past.:rolleyes:

Hey, don't take it too seriously. I'd rather answer a "stupid" question 100 times than have someone get hurt because he didn't ask it! We have guys here that literally know it all. We have guys here that know some, like me. I'm more than happy to answer questions if I know the answer. Guys did it for me when I got started here. Sometimes, the search doesn't give you the exact answer you're looking for or explain an issue clearly enough. Joshb
 
OP, If you haven't already, check out the main Accurate Shooter site, available by clicking on the banner at the top of the page. There's a tremendous amount of valuable basic and advanced information on all aspects of the shooting sports.

Welcome aboard. You will find most of the guys here are very helpful, and those that are not stick out like a sore thumb. They are very few, so just hit the ignore button, they vanish forever and i will bet you will only have to do it a couple times! After that, smooooth sailing! Glad to have you here.
