Howdy,
I'm new to this forum. I look forward to learning much. Do you folks have recommendations for a 6mm bench gun? Short of buying a 'custom' rifle, I'd like to know what you folks might recommend. I'm on a budget, so something commercial bight be the ticket. I also had thoughts about buying a used Remington and doing a rebarrel/restock. Any info is appreciated.

What are you trying to do with a new rifle? short-range BR, long-range BR, varmint hunting, f-class, tactical matches, high power, just a toy?

Answer that question fist, and you'll get more responses.

New savage target models in 6mm BR are hard to beat in terms of factory accuracy. They're accurate enough to compete with. That's probably your best choice for a factory 6mm rifle.

We have a 100/200/300-yard range. It will be for BR shooting only. No tactical. No position shooting. Primarily just for fun.
