New Full Hook-up Campground Available for Shooters at the Ben Avery Shooting Fac

The Ben Avery Shooting Facility is proud to announce the grand opening of the new Central Shooters Campground.

The new Central Shooters Campground is a 22 site full hook-up campground located south of Calle Silhouette Road and west of the High Power Range, near the Mounted Shooting Arenas. The campground is open to any and all shooters that utilize the facility. Starting November 6, 2013 at 9:00 AM the facility will begin taking reservations at the following link:

Reservations will be taken till the end of the 2014 calendar year.

What happened to the old one? Ben Avery had a campground with hook-ups at least in 1999 thru 2002 which was the last year I stayed in that campground. It was very close to the Silhouette range and right across the road from the office.

Did at sometime they close this?

The campground is about 700 yards from the 1000 yard shooting pad. I would consider that walking distance, but I cant speak for others.

The old campground is still in existence. The new one is on the other side of the High Power Range and is full hook-up vs. only electric and water in the old campground
