New Forster Bushing Bump Dies

oht

Been viewing this great form for over a year now, it's just great! So good I've been able to find everything up till now.

Has anyone seen, used, or know where to get these new dies. They look like they have potential. Thanks, Richard

I have Redding "S" dies.

I have Forster sizing dies.

I can't see what is unique about Forster's new bushing dies.

I can't see any other Forster Bumping dies on the internet.

I can't see any prices on Bumping dies on the Forster web site.

These must be just out. I downloaded the instruction manual and its dated January 2007.

Looks like it has the ability to size down the neck any length and keep the shoulder bump the same. But, if it's like most production dies it will size the body to much.

I also can't tell if they use standard bushings. I have Wilson and Redding bushings and don't want more to find.

I'm sure a custom JLC Precision or Harrell would be better but it's always fun trying new stuff. Thanks for the reply.

OHT--

Thanks for the report. Our "spies" had not told us about this one yet.

Re body sizing--actually the Forster dies have been a pretty good fit for the calibers we shoot, but of course that depends on your reamer. Guys shooting the 6.5x47 have told use the non-bushing FL dies are a near-perfect fit for the Lapua brass.

The "bump die" name is a little unfortunate. From what I read these are just full-length bushing resizing dies, similar to the Redding Type 'S' FL die. But I'll try to get more info from Redding soon.
