It was perfect conditions and I didn't shoot as good as I wanted, but someone did. I don't want to spoil it but he did a dam fine job shooting at 800, 900, and 1000 yards.
Course of fire unlimited sighters at 800, two at 900, two at 1000. 15 shots for record at each distance for 45 shots total.
I learned something. I need a higher rear bag, and I saw a gizmo with a flexshaft to move your windage top left and right.
Basically I am rebuilding and fighting with the rear bag way to move and rebuilding my position and using my elevation wheel too much because of it.
I also need to pay more attention to my head position on the stock. Higher rings I think are in order an edge wood rear bag and convert my windage top for easy access to the left right windage on the top.
When my rifle was on and I was messing with the bag it was nailing x's. Five in a row, but when I had to mess with the elevation and windage knobs I was pulling my rear bag with me and thus rebuilding.
Also when its near 100 degrees put my ammo in a cooler! My first day 1k was horrible. I shot the second 1k on day one with my back-up and it was sitting in the truck of my black car's truck. Accucracy node was definately the culprit, because today in cooler weather my rifle shot nicely!
Yes I use VIN N560 and this is the first time I noticed the ill effects of temperature on the powder. It seems when you hit 90 in the Sun...its bad! At Bodines I always shot and my ammo was under the pavilion between relays. At Forbes it was in direct sun all day long!
So my rifle shoots, If I could only shoot it as good as that guy down one from me
Congrats on the new national record you dam Hungarian
Congrats on Warner tool company for building it!
