I read about this case in Varmint Hunter magazine quite a while back. Maybe 1-2 years ago. Haven't heard anything about it till now. I guess no one has used this yet because it is patented. Looks interesting, though.

BTW -- Ken Markle,K&M) shoots one of the 6.5SMc's...interesting looking case, but seems like a hassle to me.

They say somewhere inside there that Norma will produce the brass in 2005. But they seem to be late.

And with the case design, you need a 505 gibbs case head to fire a .284 bullet.

A 308 cal bullet dosnt have a cartridge yet.. or a action for that matter.

Yep, hemispherical combustion chamber with a long exhaust port... works in cars, why not guns??

people say there will be a problem with headspace and migration of neck-shoulder junction with this kind of case.

The oversized bolt face requirement will limit the number of guys that tinker with it, that's for sure.

But I applaud the innovation. Anything that gives us more "V" with less powder is good in my book, so long as accuracy and ES don't suffer.
