New build an my daughter wants it

New build and now my daughter wants it. Just put together a 223 rem and havent even fired a shot thru it. My loving daughter has decided she wants to start the mid range game. Unfortunately for me and fortunately for her I was finishing up my budget build. Now it seems I’m back to the drawing board of putting another mid range budget build together for myself. Got to love children.

That is a good problem to have, you’re doing someone right!

To me it sounds like a good thing. I love building another gun and think it’s awesome your daughter young or old wants to get into the sport! Sounds to me like you get to enjoy putting together another build and enjoy spending time teaching and shooting with your daughter! Right on!

I can’t wait for my son to hopefully show an interest when he gets old enough and we can put a gun together for him

A friend of mine once claimed he was having a high end custom .223 Rem build made for his daughter. Of course, it didn't take long to realize he was simply making an excuse to justify the new build when I realized it was a left-handed rifle. He is left-handed, his daughter is right-handed. LOL. I also pointed out that the detailed custom paint job was a dead giveaway. If it had really been for his daughter, it would have been a "Hello Kitty" paint job in hot pink. In any event, I'm sure your daughter will be very happy with the new rifle and it will give you even more reason to spend time with her shooting, so a win-win situation for you, IMO. Congrats!

This was going to be a midrange gun for me. 223rem. I have my 308 that I’ll be using until I get parts gathered up for another midrange Rifle.
