New build 7saum

I was going to sell a few rifles to do a 7 saum build. They haven't sold. I was wondering if I could use one for a donor action. It is a Mod 70 SA 308 ? Can this work? Would I be able to shoot the heavier bullets? Thank you

I built a 7mm SAUM on a Rem 700 SA but it is a single shot. The M70 would be long enough for single shot but you would obviously need a magnum bolt face. Don't know about the M70 magazine length or feeding issues if you are doing a repeater.
