New brass for ladder test?

Need some advise.

All the brass I normally shoot is loaded and ready for the first matches of the season. ;D I have acquired some new components and would like to do some ladder testing. I have new unfired empty brass on hand. Do you think the new brass will be OK for ladder tests, or should I wait until I have brass that has been fired in my chamber to use in testing? Lapua brass, 6BR for mid/long range F-class.

Thank You

Personally, I would fireform new brass before using it for anything. Unfired brass present an additional variable which is why I don't even pay much attention to the results of the shots while fireforming, even though I'm looking for ultimate accuracy thereafter. Just my thoughts.
