This new shroud has significantly lessened bolt jump and bolt lift.

New actions will have this shroud standard and the older actions can be retrofitted for nominal cost ($50) ($25)

Good news for my up and coming action. Do you or when will you have a replacement for my existing action? My current bolt tool will still work correct?.........Thanks

Is it safe to presume that the $90 figure also includes a new cocking-piece?o_O I'm having difficulty visualizing how changing the shroud could reduce cocking effort!??!:eek: RG

P.S. I am neither unfamiliar with Borden actions, nor, trying to be a smart ass here - I recently won a NBRSA National VfS Championship using one of my RimRock actioned rigs - just extremely curious.;)

I`ll have to add this to my shopping list when I send my action in to be fitted for the second bolt.....
 
I emailed Jim and asked "what do I need to do?". He replied in 2 minutes and told me to ship him my bolts and $50. 1-2 days turn around unless it's the end of Sept.

They are undoubtedly great actions, but that kind of customer service is why I do business with Jim.
