New Action ordered - 1934 Armory BE1

Well, I ordered my first custom action today. I picked it up for a new 6GT build. I went with a 1934 Armory BE1. We're going to see how it works out. Has anyone here messed with one in person? From what I've read, everything seems good. I liked all the features of this action.

The BE1 is a Remington 700 short-action receiver from 1934 Armory — 2-lug, spiral-fluted bolt, wire EDM raceways, mechanical ejector, PVD. Machined in the USA, sold standalone.

Very nice action, I talked to the guys that started the company at the "The great outdoor show" in Harrisburg Pa last year. My son liked them a lot, they look very well biult.

I shot a custom 25 Creed built on one, I have say it was a really smooth action and shot great.

Just for discussion, does the action accept pre-fit barrels?

I see it has an optional short partial threaded tenon with setscrews barrel quick change option. Let's see how that works out.

Yes, I bought the full thread. Terminus has the same exact quick change system with the Zeus action. Everyone says they work great. I'm not going to be changing out barrels, so I'd rather have the threads.

Dos that system simply snug the barrel shoulder against the action face and secure it with a set screw?

Yes, that's the way it works.

I like it. It's going to fit well in the MPA Matrix I picked up for a song and a dance. Soon as I get a little more fun money, I'll pick up a prefit and a 2 stage TT Diamond.
