New Action From Kelbly's Inc.

We will begin manufacturing an XP-100 length action named the Kodiak-Cub. It will feature a recoil lug and XP-100 length Bolt. It will only be available in Single Shot. The configurations available will be RB-RP, and RB-LP with a rear Microport.

Ian, that's cool. This could be ideal for a future 20 Vartarg project. I'm looking to build a real small, but ultra-accurate carry-around rifle for our California Ground squirrels. We typically do a lot of walking around and shoot off bipods, as the critters tend to be in clusters around trees, rather than in massive fields.

Sounds great please offer them in bolt faces to accept both .223, 6mmPPC, and 6mmBR.

I would also love the tenon be an extra .500 longer.

If you made it both with solid bottom and open bottom it could be a great action for the varmint hunters too.

CJ...it is a short Kodiak(integral recoil lug),which is a slim Panda (not round) I forget the dims. but it is less than 1.4 so that it will be legal in Hunter class ...and they wont make the bbl tennon longer and loose the interchangability with all other Kelbly actions (that was the probblem when shooting a Teddy,you culdnt use panda bbls.)........Roger

Guys,

We will make it undesignated and you will designate pistol or rifle at order. We will not lengthen the tenon, because of how threads work a .500" longer tenon will do nothing. The tenon actually only contacts with about 3 threads when tightened down, because you have to stretch threads for them to work properly.
