New Accuracy International ASR

Does any one have any good info on the new AI ASR Kits?
It looks like they may be taking over for the AXMC. Based on some of the close out pricing it looks like are coming out on the AXMC rifles.

What exactly are you asking about/need to know?

I don't see it taking over the AXMC at all or better yet I don't think AI has any plans to phase out the AXMC style guns.

The ASR spec. rifle is the rifle that was submitted by AI for the ASR solicitation. I think it's going to be a limited run offering to the public. I could be wrong.

All of the barrels on the AI/US built guns have our sticks on them.

This is from the press release from the 2019 SHOT Show:

"Accuracy International has brought their ASR entry rifle to the commercial market in the United States for civilians to purchase. Initially, there is a collector’s Deployment Kit that will cost $19,544 and be sold in a limited edition.


A couple of features have changed about AI’s newest precision rifle. AR pistol grips have been installed, a new safety switch has been added through the ASR program, in addition to the addition of a mounting rail so that the rifle can be mounted on tripods with the Really Right Stuff mount, going directly to the rifle instead of to a Picatinny rail."

I talked to EuroOptic and it looks like they are phasing out the AXMC and replacing it with the new AXSR. I figured they had to be with the pricing the have on the AXMC rifles right now. But it looks like you are correct that the ASR is a limited run. Euro said the AXSR is not exactly the same as the ASR kit, but similar. They dont have any pictures up yet, but they do have the AXSR on their site now. They didnt at the time of the original post.

ASR pack includes 3 barrels ,3 bolts ,15 mags,3 muzzle brakes ,cleaning kit, tools ,rifle case ,drag bag, sling etc.. and a finish to apeal to all the couch commandos.

'AI made in USA' sticker also adds to the cost.
