New 6x47 build question?

Guys,
I'm starting to put together my first build. A 6x47 Lapua with PacNor barrel on a Remington 700 action. My barrel has the Remage nut like the Savage. My question is on headspacing. When I screw the action on and use the "go Gauge" to set headspace, do I have to disassemble the Remington 700 bolt for it to work right?

Yes, you will get a better feel if you disassemble the bolt.
