New 6mm bullet?

Are these bullets available now, and is anyone shooting them? If so, what did you pay for them and how do they compare to what you have shot previously.

I just spoke with them this morning. The 111gr should be in next week. As with most of their stuff, price is reasonable. $105/500 bare - $110/500 BN coated. Sounds like you only need about 90 FB with 1 1/2* lead, so they seem like they would be a real one good to try.

Prob too big for the 6BR.. but it would be nice if it could.. coated maybe.. I have a 7.5 twist..

I spoke to David Tubb today. His company is running the 111gr bullets this week and next. He said, realistically, he should be able to ship in about 20 days from now.

That puts a delivery date at the end of June, with shipping time.

froggy, I dunno whether these new 111s will be too big for a std. BR or not - a couple of guys I shoot LR HP with have been shooting Tubb's 115s in their Dashers,one with an 8-twist, the other has a 7.5-twist, both Kriegers) for the past several years with very good results. They're running pretty warm loads with N550 and getting 2900+fps out of 28"-30" bbls. with moly'd 115s, and are very competitive out to 1000yds.

Latest posts here are good news; I've had 500 of the BN-coated 111's on order for about two months now, hoping they'd arrive about the time my new 6XC LR rifle is done.

David has an updated 6XC reamer profile designed for this bullet, which he very kindly made available to my 'smith.

For the 6BR, I think they could work OK with an appropriate twist, though a longer throat,than used for 105 - 108's) might be in order.
