Hello everyone. I have been reloading since the late 70's and have been shooting long range for the last 4 years. Just retired and ordered my first custom rifle from Short Action Customs. It has a Ruckus action, Bartlein barrel (7.5t, 26in), MPA chassis and Trigger Tech 2 stage. The optic is NF Competition connected by a Near Mfg mount.
Yesterday I went to the range and fire formed some brass and sighted my scope. My first 5 shot group at 100 yd was pretty nice, but since I didn't bring my calipers, I didn't measure. Below gives you an idea tho.
I use Varget for my other rifles and this seems to work well. I also have a couple pounds of 8202 and IMR 4895. My bullet of choice is Berger 105 hybrid or VLD target. I just scored 3,000 CCI 450 primers this week, so I am set there. Bullets however, are not to be found.
