New 6BR any suggestions?

I went shooting yesterday to do some load testing. I forgot the Chrono but will bring it today. All rounds were fired down an 8 Twist Krieger 26 inch barrel. I shot it a little and cleaned it checking for copper and thanks BCRifles for a great barrel.

Haverkamp Action/Krieger barrel/McReese Chassis with the F-class rail thing that mounts on the front of the stock sorry but its all I have for now...Jewell trigger. SIII 10x50 all testing at 300 yards best group was about 3/8" 5 shot group with load below. All shot with Grizzly front frest and Protektor BB deluxe rear bag.

6BR load was
30.0 Varget
Remington 7 1/2 primer
108 Berger naked seated .010 into lands
.002 neck tension
New Lapua brass
No pressure signs to speak of very easy bolt lift
80 degrees F and about 89% humidity

It shot very well considering the wind I was dealing with. My question is this. should I try for more speed or is this acceptable for 600 yard shooting in yalls opinion.

Thanks for any help
Very Respectfully

hey mate only to to find out is to shoot it with more powder and see how it goes but you gotta be happy with what you have got , since you have no pressure problem give it a bit more and find out
i'm running 30.6gr of varget with 105gr berger hybrids at 2940fps out of my krieger 30" barrel

That's a pretty standard load. 29.5gr Varget in a 30" Krieger nets me 2850fps with 107SMKs. Same load, same results in a 30" 6 groove Border. Shoots excellent at 1k if you can keep up with the wind. You may try for a little more speed but if accuracy drops off at all I'd go back to the sweet spot.

If it repeats your "at 300 yards best group was about 3/8" 5 shot group with load below" stick a fork in it, it's done go shooting and be happy with it or build a Dasher.

Mine runs 30.6 of Varget with a 107 SMK at 2850. The 6br is no speed demon but they make up for it in accuracy.
