New 20 Vartarg

I picked up my new 20VT this afternoon...I had a Rem700 VSSF rebarreled in 20 Vartarg, and picked it up today. I've been loading .221 Fireball, so I've got plenty of brass....and I'm loading for three .204's as well.....

I've resized 50 cases, and will load in the morning before going to the range. I'm going to use RL-7, CCI-BR primers, and Berger 35gr bullets.

Keep us informed. I am doing the same build on a Remington 700 ADL action.

Give us the details on the barrel, manufacturer-countour-twist.

Yes, please do report back! I'm having a new Pac-Nor SS SM built for a Savage short action.

I was planning on starting with H4198 and the 32g Sierra but have plans to pick up the 35g Bergers once the barrel arrives.

What brand of dies are you using?

I took the new .20 VArtarg to the range yesterday....it was cool and windy, and I put 50rds downrange, going through the barrel breakin process as well. Here's a 3 round group.
