Right before I went to heart surgery I saw a thread (somewhere?) about a guy (he was a GI) and he had a two point sling affair with a modification so it could quickly be converted to a conventional competition type sling. It was leather and extra long and I couldn't get a feel for how it worked from the pic posted. As I remember it went (right hand shooter) over right should and under left arm like the 2 point but I could not tell how it made the conversion that allowed a tight hold in sitting/prone.
Just wondering if anyone else saw this as it really peaked my interest but then again so did the heart procedure which was in my front sight at the time haha.
Obviously this guy was a competition shooter and he realized the value of a tight sling prone/sitting. Then again I have seen guys use a conventional GI leather sling and left it connected to the lower sling swivel for years.
