Good luck in trying to talk to someone. Last year I tried to talk to someone there. All I got was a machine,left numerous voice mails with no response . After a month I have up.

They were bought by remington custom shop so its remington management youre dealing with now. Stan taylor may know since they use douglas barrels up there but i havent seen one since glenn started defiance machine being the nesika man to start with.

I actually thought dakota absorbed them with the remington buyout but it looks like they still use the name according to the catalog. I tried for right at 2 years to get some info on some dakotas i have pre-buyout- never a response

I have been trying to contact them about making a couple bolts for my Dakota Predators for two or three months with no luck so far. Used to have a couple contacts that worked but they have apparently moved on. It is really sad that the Remington group has taken those two fine companies and made them like they are currently. Both make great products but have near zero customer service. Not too sure how they sell anything.

I just received from them a couple of firing pin springs from them. I called Nesika and was transferred to Remington's custom shop and in less than a week the springs were on my doorstep.

It's been at least a year since I've called them. They are hard to get a hold of but quite helpful when you do.

I ordered a firing pin spring in july never did show . So some where on one of these web sights Dusty Stevens said a remington xp600 would work and Bingo fit like a glove .

There’s no way they’ll keep up the same quality. Nothing against Remington, but big corporate is all about two things:

1. maintain or create a better image

2. make production goals

so I see why Remington bought Dakota and Nesika.

If it doesnt say “poulsbo, wa” on the side its not a real nesika.

Stopped by Dakota Arms last year looking for parts. No one there but a watchman. Completely shut down, no parts.

Im sure they could but id bet they are way too busy to set up to make a one off bolt. What is wrong with your bolt? A nesika bolt is one piece and is indestructible i thought.

What is wrong with your bolt? A nesika bolt is one piece and is indestructible i thought.

I had it enlarged to accept a .590 case - but I can’t shoot something that large anymore due to physical limitations.
