Nesika Bay model R firing pin

With the scarcity of information and difficulty to reach help about Nesika Bay actions, I would appreciate to know of a source of firing pin & spring for a model R (smallest model of their BR line, the firing pin measures 5.5345 inches in the first picture). I made myself a tool to disassemble so I could at least get the specs of the spring to no avail (second picture).

You will notice that even a fully compressed spring will not allow to unscrew the firing pin from the shroud.

The shroud turns too. Your tool is best for firing pins that are pinned to the cocking piece.

I am having the same problem with my Model K. Were you able to get the striker off? If so let me know how you did it. I can tell you that you can probably get a replacement spring from Park West Arms. I called them this week and they had a spring for my Model K. Park West used to be Dakota Arms and they are still in Sturges SD. Ask for Ward when you call.
