Neil Jones Cleaning Rod Guide vs Lucas

I was going to upgrade my Sinclair cleaning rod guide to a Lucas but I was looking on the Niel Jones site and noticed they offer a rod guide also. Does anyone know if the Niel Jones is any better than the Lucas?

The Lucas guide is good, I have a couple and use them on my hunting rifles. My benchrest rifles I use the Nolan boresaver. I really like the quality of construction, the long stainless insert and the double 0-rings.

I use several Neil Jones rod guides, and am very satisfied with them: a high quality product. Have no experience with the Lucas, but hear a lot of good things about them also. We are blessed with a wide selection of top quality equipment, by many different manufacturers: says a lot for "made in the usa".

I use a Lucas on my 6.5x55,Remington action. It is very well machined,stays where you put it,and the rod bushing fits my cleaning rod perfectly.I have no comparisons to go by however other than my own homemade guides which worked fine but are sort of crude. Jim

I have several Neil Jones's bore guides, and think they are great,cleaning rods too)!

I also have a Lucas guide that I like very much too.

You can not go wrong with either choice.
