Scott Leitner needs all the good thoughs and prayers we can give right now. I met him only last March, and have been shooting, bull and targets) with him all year...and glad to call him a friend.
15 days ago Scott suffered what was diagnosed as a "brain stem bleed" similar to an aneurism while on the job. THe worst part is,he suffered it while several rungs up on a ladder aty a jobsite and fell backwards where there was only concrete to break his fall.
As of last night,2 weeks in) Scott has been in a coma, unconcious for 2 weeks.
He is in the Hershey Medical Center inintensive care at themoment, and i hope to hear good news later today, but no on knows what lies ahead.
Scott is an avid P-Dog hunter and bench shooter, and an all around hell-of-a-good-guy.
Those who have made it to Lewistown to shoot the groundhog matches have surely met and seen scott, and his little 17 that could. He shot the smallest groups of the year this year with his little 17mach4--with several groups near 1.5",or maybe less) at 500yds.
He also joined me and about 60 others to battle the wind at Shippensburg this year. And managed to make it to williamsport for the last match to try out his little 17 that could at 1000yards,not too shabby for the crappy conditions)
So send all the positive thoughts, energy and prayers to my buddy Scott.
thanks,
Jason Baney
