need thoughts and prayers for a great guy

ScottLeitner.jpg

Scott Leitner needs all the good thoughs and prayers we can give right now. I met him only last March, and have been shooting, bull and targets) with him all year...and glad to call him a friend.

15 days ago Scott suffered what was diagnosed as a "brain stem bleed" similar to an aneurism while on the job. THe worst part is,he suffered it while several rungs up on a ladder aty a jobsite and fell backwards where there was only concrete to break his fall.

As of last night,2 weeks in) Scott has been in a coma, unconcious for 2 weeks.

He is in the Hershey Medical Center inintensive care at themoment, and i hope to hear good news later today, but no on knows what lies ahead.

Scott is an avid P-Dog hunter and bench shooter, and an all around hell-of-a-good-guy.

Those who have made it to Lewistown to shoot the groundhog matches have surely met and seen scott, and his little 17 that could. He shot the smallest groups of the year this year with his little 17mach4--with several groups near 1.5",or maybe less) at 500yds.

He also joined me and about 60 others to battle the wind at Shippensburg this year. And managed to make it to williamsport for the last match to try out his little 17 that could at 1000yards,not too shabby for the crappy conditions)

So send all the positive thoughts, energy and prayers to my buddy Scott.

thanks,
Jason Baney

I meet Scott at the Lewistown Groundhog Shoot and he is a great asset to our sport. I always enjoy talking to and learning from him.My thoughts are for Scott and his family, praying for a complete recovery.

Prayers and hopes sent for Scott. Sometimes such injuries can heal unexpectedly on their own. We'll all be pulling for that to happen.

Scott is one of the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet. He always has a kind word for everyone.
My family and I shall pray for Scott, and for his family to have strength and hope during this crisis.

Good news!! I was on the phone with Scott's wife and another friend was asking scott if he knew me...nodded yes!!!........then asked if i was a good shooter.........nodded yes!!!! amazing!!!!!

Though not quite lucid, I know he is doin OK if he can manage to distinguish truth from untruth :D :D

get better buddy, you're on your way!!
