Need some tech advice SB F/class

What software (take a pic with phone and marks impact) do you fellas use if any to determine shot placement in small bore F/class. Using an I phone. Should have said app, tough being old
Thanks Bob

Do you mean using a phone attached to a spotting 'scope, or instead of a spotting 'scope?

Here on the UK very few smallbore shooters Mark shots while they shoot; a few NRA TR/Palma shooters may do out of habit. But, why record shots? If they're going in, you should be firing more, not writing down how good the last one was!

Next year, the CMP will be using electronic targets for the Smallbore Championships..
That's interesting - how are they going to score electronically with sub-sonic ammo? Asking because the current crop of electronic targets' microphones only 'hear' & locate impacts using the crack of supersonic bullets.

The targets used by ISSF have scored SB for decades. It is a “chamber” type system, very different than how Shotmarker or SMT operate.

I believe there are some that have little light gates all around the target and when a bullet passes the light is blocked momentarily. Sorta how your car stereo knows when you out a CD in it. The sensors triangulate where the bullet passed.

SIUS targets (used at ISSF/Olympic matches for 30-ish years) have a rubber reel behind the faceplate to provide extra noise. Meyton use infrared light to locate shots.

HEX targets score subsonic 22LR just fine (they are a chamber-type target) -we just fired a 200 yard smallbore fundraiser shoot last Saturday, and will be doing a few more as the year goes by.
