Hey guys, finally am gunna pull the trigger in a few weeks and get a lathe. Mainly the 2 i am looking at are the PM 11x27 and the Pm 12x28 precision lathe. These will be used for gunsmithing. The 11x27 comes with more accessories and the 12x28 doesnt come with much. I cant go any bigger than these i dont have the room and they are to heavy for me. Even the Pm 1030v looks nice but not sure it would work for gunsmithing. I wont be profiling barrels mainly doing actions and chambers with the occasional threaded muzzle thrown in. Tired at looking at worn out american machines that weigh 1500lbs. You guys have one of these or any reccomendations id sure appreciate the input.
