I have 8 lbs of AA2230 and 1,000 55gr .224 Blitzking bullets.

Brass is once fired Winchester .223 Remington. I saved all my Winchester white box brass, when it was cheaper to buy than reload.

Primers available are WSR, Fed 205 & CCI 400.

Barrel is 26" Shilen Match 1:14 twist.

Altitude is 6000+ feet above MSL.

Target is colony rodents to 300 yards.

Any data is appreciated,

Don't get much easier than this. 23-25 grains of powder, any of the primers you have. Start at the low end of course. Work up til you get decent accuracy. Load em all up and go shoot.

One of my best 223 loads is with aa2230. I use 24.8 grs with a 55gr v max and f205 and 205m primers.this gave me 3030 fps out of a ar15 with a 24 inch brl. seat the bullet COL to 2.260inch. It also gives great accuracy in a bolt gun. This is good to 500 yds plus. Good shooting !

I also found that 24.7 gr of AA2230 standard powder gave 1/2 MOA groups at 100 yards using a 55 gr Blitz King bullet and could reach out to 600 yards without a problem on a none windy day using an off the shelf RRA AR15 20" NM upper. MV was 3020 taken with a Garmin doppler chronograph. Now we will see what type of group it will shoot at 100, 300 and 600.
