I need 3/8 dovetail rings. I have some 1” Kelblys which are great but changing from 1” to 30mm and it looks like Kelbly doesn’t make rings anymore. I ordered some from Harrell’s Precision (nice looking rings) but from the bottom of the dovetail to the top of the dovetail is .200” and I need .100”. Anyone have any recommendations?

I looked at those but the top of the rings dovetail wasn’t flat so my concern is how robust the connection/mount will be to the flat dovetail on the receiver. I’d like both mating surfaces to be flat. Have you used them without any problems?

I've only used them on rimfires. Can't comment on rifles with any recoil but the double strap units look solid.

What bases or reciever rail are you using?
Kelbly sleeve primarily. In the near future I’ll need some for a Walther KK300.

For the Davidson/Kelbly style bases/rail, you definitely want the top of the dove tail on the rings to be flat...not domed as the BKL's are. The BKL's are nice rings for a rimfire where they just grab the outside edge.

I always run warne on rimfire rails. Never a problem.
I recently installed a set of BKL 303 30mm rings on my 17hmr (see pic). They replaced a set of BKL 261 1" rings that I used for 15 years and that setup/scope never lost zero.
