need load for 6.5x47 Lapua & 95 V-Max

I have a 6.5x47 on a Rem 700 with a Broughton 8 twist 5C .
I'm looking for a load w9ith Varget, Re 15 to spit out Hornady 95 grainers. Any and all help greatly appreciated. God Bless.

I use the 95b/tips for long range Bunnie bashing!!!!
and is my foxing load as well
38,5 grains of varget or re15,,,

fps about 3150

Also 37.5 with both powders gives good accuracy with a bit less speed
and is easy er on brass,,,

Been running my 6.5x47 for over a couple of years now,, you have just got to love it 8)

41 grains 3220 fps
41.5 3268 fps Group size 0.300 inches
42 3313 fps
42.5 3364 fps Groups size 0.450 inches
43 3407 fps Group size 0.550 inches

No pressure signs.

Sounds like there is a bit more speed to be had???
I as i say i do not get pressure signs with either of my loads,,,

The only advantage i have is that both 38.5g of varget or re15

have the same point of aim as 38.5g of powder with the 95b/t???

Shoot targets one day and varmints the next!!!!

Hi Darrel,
I suspect that there is a bit more velocity to be had, but the fps gains between the .5 increments are quite large, so I think the high pressure will come very quickly.

I will settle on 42.5 grains and work on the seating depth.

Did try 39g but the accuracy was not there so perhaps i could hit another node higher up???

I dont think the rabbits are going to be very happy this year
