NEED INFO ON REMI NEW VARMINT SPS

WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT BARREL TWIST THE 243 WIN COMES IN AND WHAT IS THE X-PRO TRIGGER. ALSO IF IT IS A GOOD BUY FOR FUTURE IMPROVEMENT. THANKS

Im not sure of the twist but its a remy so its a good action to build on.

I looked at one at bass pro normal 700 short action no J lock hinged floor plate all matte finish the 243 is a 9 twist don't know about the trigger they had one of those STUPID locks on it all in all I would say it would be a great start for a project all though I did not care much for the stock

Thanks for the info guys. I looked into the model 700 SPS DM, it comes with a 1 9 1/8 twist. I read that the varmint comes with a 1 10 twist, I am not sure how accurate that info is but I am sure of the sps coming in a 1 9 1/8 twist. Wanted to see if that twist can stabilize the sierra's 107 grain match kings.

Remington says the varmint is 1 in 9 1/8:

I just bought an SPS varmint in 308. I was able to get the new X Mark trigger to about 3 pounds. I prefer the old style trigger. Good rifle for the money.
