Need help with value of US military rifles

I have 3 guns my father bought through the NRA back in the early 60’s. An Underwood M1 carbine, Remington 03/a3 and an Ithaca 1911. It’s pretty easy to find comps on the general value but I also have the original shipping receipts from the different arsenals they were shipped from. How much, if any does this add to the value? Thanks.

If I were buying, it would be nice to have, but not at a price. Their condition would say it all.

Depending on the condition, starting price of over 1K for the 03A3 and 1911and maybe on the carbine.

I do not think the receipts add any value. If you have specific Provenance that ties an item to specific personal or place, like capture papers, then I see it adding value.

For example, my neighbor has a long barreled P08 Luger, take from a dead Nazi at the Battle of the Bulge, complete with two magazines, holster, & capture papers, his old man acquired. Damn near priceless these days.

I would just keep them. Take them out and enjoy them with your Father. I try to take my Veteran firearms out to the range on Veterans Day just out of respect.

The receipt may raise the value as documentation of the purchase and where it was purchased/shipped from. I would have no idea as to how many were sold this way through the NRA, I would contact the NRA museum as they may have some records on file or could give you an estimate of value. I like to keep my receipts just for record of what I paid and where I bought it from.
