Need help with reloading 50beowulf .

I am very new to reloading , I have a RCBS press and all the other things I need to get started . I am trying to reload for my 50 Beowulf . I had a friend load my first batch of ammo . He also gave me his load data. I can’t seem to find much load data on this round .

I have a set of lee dies for 50 Beowulf
I have 200 new brass from AA.
300 grain Hornady FTX
1 pound of lilgun

My brass keeps getting stuck in the resized die ? Lube does not seem to help . ?? What can I do ?

How do I set up the factory crimp die ?

Do I need to clean brass after resizing due to lube ? Like I said I am very new to reloading .

Does anybody have any load data on the 50 Beowulf . I am using this for deer and hog hunting . Looking for something with a 350 Barnes hollow point . ?

Any other pointers would be great .

Thanks in advance

What case lube are you using?

Yes. Some lubes claim it is not needed, They also have a tendency to stick cases.

Your die set comes with a taper crimp die, If you are referring to that monstrosity that has a carbide ring in the bottom, I would find a large lake and see how close to the middle you can throw it. To use the taper crimp die you first seat all of your bullets without trying to crimp. Then adjust the crimping just enough to remove the bell left from the expander.

Get your friend to help you.
Were there no instructions with your die set?
H110 is a better powder than Li'l Gun in the 'Wulf.

Get some manuals. The process for handloading the 'Wulf is very similar to loading 9mm.

I am using exactly the same everything you are using: press, dies, bullets and powder. I just loaded 20 rounds using the Starline brass from the Alexander Arms cartridges. The first case almost got stuck in the Lee die, but I was able to lever it out without problems. I greased it a bit more with the sizing lube (I use Imperial) and it went through fine, though a bit hard. I think it was the brand-new die that was too dry. After two or three cases everything felt normal. I used CCI 350 magnum large pistol primers and 39 grains of Li'l Gun. The maximum dose of that powder with the 300-gr. bullet is 40 grains. So I think my load is going to be hot but not dangerously so--at least I hope. The COL with the FTX is, I believe, 2.250". I believe the crimp die with my Lee kit is a taper die. However, I don't think Alexander Arms or whoever loads their ammo for them does not crimp. I ran each shell through this die only to make sure that the belling out of the case mouth would not cause chambering problems. I also ran each shell through a cartridge gauge that I purchased from Alexander Arms to make sure they'd be within specs. As soon as I can try those shells I will post the results here.
One interesting note: the once-fired Starline Brass did not stretch upon firing, nor did it stretch from resizing it. Maybe it will after a few shots.

Some Lee sizing dies can be pretty rough inside. It won't hurt a thing to polish the inside of the die with a bore mop and some fine metal polish on a cleaning rod section chucked up in your drill. After polishing, clean the die thoroughly, then apply some case lube to the inside with a q-tip or something. See if that doesn't ease your sizing problems somewhat. I would use JB bore paste, Simichrome, Flitz, or even Iosso bore cleaner to polish it. They're all fine enough that it's very unlikely that you'll over-polish the die and actually remove any metal.
