Need help with a Jewell trigger

I have a jewell im trying to install on a bat model M. And they just wont work togather.
The trigger is new and when installed in either the 0 or 30 position the handle of the action wont cam down at all. I already sent the brand new trigger back to jewell. then just said they adjusted it.
It still wont work. I can get the bolt handle to cam down if i pull on the trigger shoe hard. But the trigger will not set . I called jewel and they had no idea, they had no idea what was done to my trigger.
He just said he thought it was a problem with my NEW bat model M.

Possibly the trigger hanger is in backwards on your Bat action. - Try swapping its position 180 degrees (put the front in the back & back in the front)

There is no backwards on a Bat hanger. They are reversible for fine tuning. Op stated he has tried both ways. I would call Bat.

Thanks all. i just wanted to let you know the outcome. The hanger was installed correctly. i did even try it upside down and on the bat it spaces the trigger out and it will not make contact with the firing pin upside down. Bat got the action and trigger back and said they had to adjusted the cocking piece on the action. Unfortunately every piece on this build has been returned to it manufacturer so far, total headache. Mcmillan had to redo the stock, that was a year. I sent the trigger back and then the action/trigger had to go back. hopefully it wuill get done by the 3 year mark, yikes.

What was wrong with the stock so much it had to be sent back? Your gunsmith couldnt fix these issues? The last time mcmillan made a mistake on a stock for me so bad i couldnt correct it i had the right one in a week

Not knocking any of these manufacturers. All quality products. Everyone makes mistakes and good companies fix them.

but remember this thread next time you see a bash Remington thread.

I know the feeling. Don't put up with it. Just send it all to me and I'll throw it away for you and maybe send you 50 bucks.
