Sorry I ment for a break on the end to tame some of the recoil.
Are you sure you really want a muzzle brake on a 6mm BR? I shoot a 6mm BR in competition with heavy bullets and hotter than recommended loads and the recoil is so light I shoot it free-recoil just like my 22LR. Yes, it does have some recoil, but certainly not enough to warrant a muzzle brake.

Remember, if you shoot around any other people, your muzzle brake will get you plenty of those "stink-eye" looks. Nothing is more annoying when you're trying to do some precision shooting than having a guy next to you with a muzzle brake. Think about it.

First, I don't see anywhere where he says the gun is a 6 BR. Second, My seventeen pound 6 Dashers wear breaks. Lots of guys shooting 6 br/dashers in 1k Comp use brakes.... I would never be with out one in comp!!

Be sure to specify that your barrel is A. screwed into the action, and B. the barrel's length when you contact the gun smiths.

It's not for the 6br it's the 308 that I have laying around. Wanted to tame some of the recoil so my kids could enjoy it.
