Need help picking scope for a friend

My best friend wants help picking a scope to go on a new Creedmore. He can spend up to $800 and wants 18 to 24 on high-power. I have only high end equipment and don't wish to get up to speed at the lower priced stuff. What would you suggest.

Look into Vortex. Like mine. Should be able to find something well thin the budget range.
