Need help on rear bag

Need help on what size rear bag to get, for my mcmillian f-class stock. I am looking at the edgewood minigator, and need to know which ear width to get, the 3/4 stitch or the 3/8. The bottom of the stock is a flat base and is 5/8 wide. Thanks Mike

Once your determine your EXACT need(s) call Protektor and have them make you a custom bag. They will make it to your exact specifications! Then they will fill it for you with the sand style (heavy / regular) and get it to you within 2 weeks!!

Ditto! Probably 1/2". I had Protektor make me one. i think it is 1/8" narrower than my stock. Later! Frank

My guess would be the 3/4...you want it just slightly narrower than the bottom of the stock for snug fit.

This is a subject I am also interested in, but I'm confused here. If you want it slightly narrower than the bottom of the stock, why with a 5/8" stock would he opt for the 3/4" stitching? Maybe I am reading something wrong? Thanks.

+1 If you want to get it right the first time Mike call the maker you prefer and tell them what you have. They will get it right. So far the math here is wrong including mine. I just measured my stock and the stitching on my Dr. bag. Both are 1 1/2". It is maybe 1/8" narrower between the bottom of the ears. Took less than two weeks for mine. Had them fill it with heavy sand. Works great. Later! Frank
