Need help on 6.5x61 Sharp & Hart (Super)

So my grand father just gave me a custom 6.5x61 Sharp and Hart (aka 6.5x61 Super) on a Mauser 98 action and I am needing to find some .264win brass so that I can do my resizing for reloading. I cannot find anything on the caliber either so if you have any info and would like to pass it along, I would love that!

Google 7x61 S&H as I'm sure that's your parent round. Norma has brass and is usually available at midway, Huntingtons, and Custom brass. Redding might be worth a call for dies.
I've shot the 7x61 with some good results but was limited by barrel twist and not wanting to invest too much time or money in bedding and such.

I have done a fairly extensive amount of research for the round and it seems that 264win is the easiest/fastest way to size brass and I have a set of FL RCBS dies. Thanks for your thoughts guys, I will check out varmintal.com thanks!

Might be giving away my age here. The original 7 X 61 S&H was developed primarily by Phil Sharpe, an outdoor writer from years ago. The 6.5 is simply a necked down version. Norma brass should be available at Huntingtons for the 7 X 61.

There were dozens of proprietary wildcats back in the day, which factories made close copies of and standardized the chambering. Winchester did it with the .264 Magnum. Matter of fact all the short belted magnums started of as wildcats, 7mm Rem, .300 Win. Even thing like the .22-250, .243, 7-08, .260 and so on.

What little load data I have is over 50 years old for only IMR 4350 and IMR 4831. Looking at the loads, they are a little on scary side both in terms of charge weight and claimed velocities.

Modern load data for the .264 Winmag will get you in the ballpark, start cautiously, and remember the rifle isn't brand new either. You might even want a chamber casting done just to be sure.
