I have a 22 hornet, savage model 25 walking varminter and the bolt handle stripped out, does anyone know where I can buy a new complete bolt assembly for it. Contacted savage about the issue their reply was we can't help you, against our policy. My new policy is I'll never buy another savage.

Thanx for posting. I searched the ol interweb for bolts for the 25. Nada. Good thing is I was considering a 22 Hornet in a 25. Now it's off the list.
Talked to a guy about an hour ago, with any luck he can, he's busy as heck right now

That’s a major reason with these guys. I waited a year my GS just to chamber a barrel for me, but I wanted it done right and I had options.
