Need Help Choosing Contour

I was wondering how you have gone about choosing barrel contours for custom builds? I'm looking to order a barrel for a rifle that will primarily be used as a target gun to be shot off the bench with a rest, so I don't need it to fit any criteria other than my own preference. That being said, I'm wondering if there is any rhythm to reason on picking a barrel based on the "B" dimension? Also, what are your thoughts on the Reminton Sendero contour?

If your not concerned with a weight issue the 1.125 no taper will allow you to set the barrel back until it's to short for a pistol, and the added weight will help it settle on the bench.
If the, B ) is to short you'll only be able to set it back once...
Lots of the long barrels that are now pretty short do double duty on my XP's for varmints...

I'm with Preacher,if weight is not an issue go with the no taper,straight) barrel contour,I like mine 1.350 Dia.) if the length is over 26-27" look at a barrel block also.
